Culbertson Mansion
New Albany, Indiana

Literally- a haunted house. Originally the Culbertson Mansion’s Carriage House sheltered the family’s horse and buggy. After the Mansion was auctioned off at the turn of the century, the Carriage House fell into disuse. Dark legends abound concerning tragic fires, spirit activity and gruesome murders! Over the years, the Mansion staff and volunteers have reported unusual occurrences in the old Carriage House:
You make your way out of a ruined graveyard, cluttered with grave stones. A corn field lies ahead and you can hear the rustling of ghouls which inhibit it. As you get near the house on the other side, you hear screams escaping from an old boarded up door. "Do not Enter! "– the voices scream. You try to open the door, but it is boarded shut. Do you have the courage to meet the most hideous creations inside? Find out by making a driving excursion to a Louisville Halloween haunted house, haunted forest or haunted corn maze in the metro area. You have been warned!
